BioMimetic Therapeutics, Inc. to Highlight Clinical and Preclinical Activities at ORS and AAOS Meetings
Franklin, Tenn. – February 29, 2008 - BioMimetic Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: BMTI) today announced that the Company will present data next week at the Orthopedic Research Society (ORS) and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) meetings, highlighting its pre-clinical and clinical studies in the orthopedic space. These meetings are being held consecutively in San Francisco, CA the week of March 2, 2008.

-Dr. Michael Ehrlich will present rhPDGF-BB Increases New Bone Formation in a Rat Model of Distraction Osteogeneis during the Pediatrics 1: General, Upper Extremity and Spine Session. Dr. Ehrlich's presentation will take place on Thursday, March 6 at 8:00 a.m. PT at Podium 181 at the Moscone Convention Center in room 307 – 310.
-Dr. Christopher DiGiovanni will present A Human Feasibility Trial Evaluating rhPDGF vs. Autologous Bone Graft during Foot and Ankle Fusion during the Foot/Ankle 1: Arthroplasty and Arthrodesis Session. Dr. DiGiovanni's presentation will take place on Thursday, March 6 at 10:54 a.m. PT at Podium 259 at the Moscone Convention Center in room 250 – 262.
The Company will also host an investor and analyst meeting to discuss pre-clinical and clinical data presented at the ORS and AAOS meetings. The program will also focus on new clinical opportunities and will provide updates on the Company's clinical pipeline. The meeting will take place on Thursday, March 6 at 5:00 PT at One Bush Street, 17th Floor, San Francisco, 94104.
In addition to the presentations being held at ORS and AAOS, Dr. Charles Hart, chief scientific officer, will provide an update of corporate activities at the Canaccord Adams Small Cap Orthopedics Conference.
